WELL DONE AND WELCOME TO FINALS

27 Aug 2023 by Nathan Rogers

IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THIS,

16 Home and away season games, wins, losses, highs, and lows but all your hard work and effort “and listening to your coaches”, has paid off and five out of seven of our junior teams have made finals.

Under 12 A – Fished 4th and will play a Semi Final vs White hills at White Hills Today

Under 12 C – Also fished 4th and play an Elimination Final at Home today against Heathcote in a do or die contest.

Under 14 R3 – Finished 2nd and will play in a Semi Final Next Sunday

Under 16 R2 – Finished 2nd and Will also play in a Semi Final Next Sunday

And finally, our Under 16 Seniors (Gold) Finished in 2nd and will play at home today against Rochester.

It all stars now as they battle it out to make their club, Coaches, Parents, and supporters proud, and we will all be watching.

And to the other teams that didn’t make it, don’t be disheartened, as there will positives in your seasons too, like kids coming out of their shells, and playing a break out season, or someone might have achieved a person best of some sort, but the main thing is you have had fun, got better and made new friends and team mates.

Its been a great season so far, now we can make it Memorable.

Family, Friends, bring them all to our games and support the kids and most importantly cheer them on and be proud of their efforts no matter what happens from here, YOU HAVE ALL DONE US PROUD.

And its great to see so many kids get an opportunity to play finals with our great club.

Last of All we are hosting finals at Marist Today, and although two out of Five are playing at home there is also other age groups playing at our home, so make sure we get lots of people there to show just how supportive we are.

Go the Mighty Eagles
