GOOD MORNING ALL MGJFC PLAYERS AND FAMILIES,

In light of some recent events that have occurred on and off the field, I ask that as Players, Guardians and Families, I ask that everyone at MGJFC, be reminded of the code of conducts that are in place both at the MGJFC and the BJFC, that outline a number of very important priorities.

We as parents/guardians of players need to do our best to explain the importance of respect towards others and explain that any form of verbal or physical abuse is not acceptable and should never be used in a way to that could affect someone’s day to day life, or most importantly should never be used on the filed as retaliation or a way to beat your opponents.

We should also never take part in form of bullying, even if it seems harmless, it will affect everyone in different ways and can also have long lasting effects on and off the field as none of us can know what others have experienced or are currently going through, and a simple verbal exchange could have long lasting effects.

And in the days of so many social media apps, we should never use to make negative, derogatory or insulting comments regarding any of our teammates, opponents, club members, officials or volunteers, and we should also never try to find and contact them after any on field incidents.

I know at time its hard and some times on filed things don’t always go our way or sometimes there are things we don’t like and we react in the moment, but remember if something happens on filed that you think isn’t right or someone tells you something that is concerning or worrying, lets not use it for any purpose and remember to tell your coach or team manager and lets follow the right processes and hopefully can be sorted out with anything major happening or it becomes out of our control and further actions then cause more bigger issues.

We as a club at MGJFC are a positive, welcoming, friendly and Supportive club and we have worked hard to build a good reputation within the football community, and most importantly every one here is part of family and we are here to offer support to anyone who may need it, so lets all work together to make sure that we all do our best to respect others no matter the situation or no matter what happens on the field or the situation, it everyone’s responsibility.

And last but not least, if you or someone you know is going through a difficult time, for whatever reason, remember there are many ways to seek help, but also don’t ever be feel scared to ask for help, WE ARE A COMMUNITY AND A FAMILY and not only are we here to play together but we are her to support and respect each other no matter what.

Regards
